On 17 July, the Baikov Institute of Metallurgy and Materials Science of the Russian Academy of Sciences (IMET RAS) hosted the 2nd public science event “IMET RAS Metallurgist’s Day”. The key event was the plenary discussion “The Legacy of Ivan Pavlovich Bardin: Innovations in Metallurgy”. Among the speakers was Alexey Nikolaevich Suchkov, First Deputy Head of the Department of Physical Problems of Materials Science at NRNU MEPhI, Associate Professor, PhD (Eng.). Also taking part in the discussion were the Director of IMET RAS, V.S. Komlev, Advisor to the Director V.S. Yusupov, Deputy Director A.V. Samokhin, and representatives of the Movement of the First and the Moscow Innovation Cluster. Congratulations to Alexey Nikolaevich on taking part in such a significant event!
