Together with his team, he developed the concept and a prototype of an automated seed germination control system.
“Before the planting season, it is important for an agronomist or farmer to determine which seeds will produce the best yield. This is often done manually at present, which leads to errors. An automated system removes the influence of human error and provides objective, accurate results,” he says.
Arseny is currently a 3rd-year student in “Materials Science and Technology of Materials” at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI. At the Kurnakov Institute of General and Inorganic Chemistry of the Russian Academy of Sciences, he works on finding optimal semiconductor compositions, in particular their films, which will help make electronic devices faster, more compact and more energy-efficient.
Arseny says he is a three-time grant recipient, having attracted three million rubles for developing his projects through the “Student Startup” programme. His project portfolio includes a vending copier machine and even an online platform for tailoring and selling clothing.
